Hi, I'm John Clark, the founder of MakeCustomSongs. A few years ago I lost my Shiba Inu, Sammy — a relentless sock thief who waited by the front door like clockwork. I made a song about him, and the moment the first verse started I teared up; one of my family members couldn't make it through the first minute. That's when it clicked: a song can hold a person, a pet, or a memory in a way a card never can. MakeCustomSongs is how we help you do exactly that.
Audio heirlooms, not disposable gifts
We think of these as audio heirlooms — permanent, personal artifacts instead of disposable sentiments. You share the details, we turn them into personalized lyrics, music, and vocals, and you hear a free preview before you decide. Technology doesn't have to feel cold. The goal is simple: the one song that makes a family stop and listen together.
Honest about where we are
We're an independent, early-stage company, not a giant brand with a celebrity roster. More than 11,000 songs have been created with MakeCustomSongs so far, and we'd rather tell you that real number than inflate it. What we compete on is the thing that matters most: songs that feel genuinely personal, and a free preview so you never pay for one you don't love.
Who's behind it
MakeCustomSongs is built and run from Miami, Florida by founder John Clark, and operated by Avinuity Web Properties LLC, a small creative-technology studio registered in New York. It's a small team that reads support emails personally — if something isn't right with your song, a real person will help you fix it.
How we handle your details
The songs people make here include names, family memories, and private messages, so we treat those details with care. We don't publish anyone's personal song as a public example without their permission. The sample songs on our site are real songs we created to show the range of styles and occasions — not customer reviews.
Where to start
Most people begin with a birthday song, a love song, an anniversary song, a wedding song, a holiday song, or a gift for a husband or wife. If you'd rather hear what different styles sound like first, the examples page is the best place to start.
